Our story began with a trip to Australia in 2011, where we trained with the team at PlatinumHD, a studio whose approach to real estate film was well ahead of its time. They saw what video could do for a home, and we came back determined to bring that same thinking to Canada.
We launched PlatinumHD’s first international franchise here, at a time when video was still far from standard in real estate marketing. That experience shaped a belief we still hold today:

Today, Platinum Creative is a boutique photography and film studio based on Vancouver Island, working across real estate, architecture and design. We’ve grown through relationships, with many of our clients trusting us with their work for more than a decade.
Every home gives us something different to work with. Its light, its setting, its architecture, or a detail you might otherwise walk past. Those things shape the images we make, the pace of a film and the story we choose to tell.
Our approach leaves room for that individuality. We take the time to understand what deserves attention and how to bring it forward, creating work that feels considered, natural and true to the home.
